(And we both know I've always had the latest cool cell phone.) If part of the job of technology is "immediacy" then nothing can beat the iPhone. Every function feels beautifully intuitive and IMMEDIATE. You never get the feeling you're dialing in to retrieve anything. The iPhone is LIGHT YEARS ahead of any phone I've ever owned. And sooooo purdy! Rand
Great blog by the way.randhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04389857137351173084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1293651735518246988.post-60720882930881784122007-07-08T14:10:00.000-06:002007-07-08T14:10:00.000-06:00I want an iPhone...I want an iPhone...Russ Lauberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10693793354382328759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1293651735518246988.post-80900905429982392622007-07-08T13:56:00.000-06:002007-07-08T13:56:00.000-06:00Not owning a cell phone, for which you've already ...Not owning a cell phone, for which you've already given me grief for, I'm not sure WHAT to do...my older brother works for Verizon, so I'm sure I can run at least a comparison...but, but, I want in on the very best! I text a lot and the SMS application and keyboard are perfect for that. The threaded conversations are so very helpful. Having a full web browser is nice. Yeah, slow on AT&T's network but zippy on WiFi.

I travel a lot and watch movies on my iPod. The iPhone is much better since the screen is bigger and battery life is MUCH longer.

iPhone is just the right size. I was a Treo user at one time, but Treo was too thick. I moved to a flip phone which was nice and small. The iPhone actually isn't much bigger than the flip phone and it's thinner.

My AT&T plan is actually cheaper than the 450 minutes + data + text plan I had from Sprint. The phone is not really costing me $2000 because I would have to have a cell plan one way or another.

A $600 phone isn't for everyone, but after a week of use, I'd gladly pay more. Heck, for my last iPod and phone, I paid a combined total of over $600.Tony Vincenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14040232492951309881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1293651735518246988.post-78640337552045072272007-07-07T09:55:00.000-06:002007-07-07T09:55:00.000-06:00I bought one, but my Treo was dead, and I live by ...I bought one, but my Treo was dead, and I live by my smartphone. In the end, the marginal cost of an iPhone over a Treo was a few hundred dollars over the length of the plan. Worth it for me.Chris Lehmannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02492590985930881814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1293651735518246988.post-49024821524999745672007-07-07T09:47:00.000-06:002007-07-07T09:47:00.000-06:00I agree with you. It is way too expensive. I'm going to blog more about this on laterAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
